I always find it interesting when people complain about how much work it is to take a vacation, and how exhausted they are when they return. Yes, there's a lot to do: laundry, arranging care for pets, taking time off of work...the list is long. The thing is, vacations are not a requirement; they are a blessing.
I feel so incredibly blessed to have had almost a week spent just with our little family, with no obligations, meetings, or doctor's appointments to keep. We visited attractions coveted by children of all ages, built sand castles, swam in the ocean, and made amazing memories. It was wonderful, relaxing, and tiring all at the same time, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
I can't think of any better reason to be tired.
